Liverpool FC and Tottenham keen on signing 24-year-old – report
Liverpool FC and Tottenham are both keen on signing French midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, say reports

Both Liverpool and Tottenham are keen on signing French midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, according to reports in Italy.
Italian website Tuttomercatoweb, as quoted by the Daily Mail, is claiming that both of the Premier League sides have sent scouts to watch the 24-year-old in action after he joined Spanish side Valencia on loan from Inter Milan in the summer.
According to the same story, Valencia have the option to sign Kondogbia on a £22m deal at the end of the season.
However, it is claimed that both Liverpool and Tottenham could step in to try and sign him if Valencia opt not to take up that option.
Kondogbia has made five starts for Valencia so far this season, scoring once in the 2-2 draw with Real Madrid in La Liga back in August.
Liverpool have already secured a deal to sign midfielder Naby Keita from RB Leipzig but that transfer will not go through until next summer.
It has been a mixed start to the season for Jurgen Klopp’s men, with the Reds having only won one of their last seven games in all competitions, to leave them seven points behind leaders Manchester City in the Premier League table.
The Reds host Manchester United at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime.
