Mark Lawrenson makes disappointing Liverpool FC title prediction
The Liverpool FC legend doesn't believe Jurgen Klopp's men are close to winning the title

Mark Lawrenson has ruled out Liverpool FC winning the Premier League title for a number of seasons.
The Reds have been in impressive form in the Premier League over the past couple of months since an embarrassing 4-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.
Indeed, Liverpool FC are unbeaten in their last seven Premier League games and have scored 20 goals during that run before their mid-week clash against West Brom.
The Reds are 16 points adrift of runaway leaders Manchester City following a 1-1 draw with Everton in the Merseyside derby last weekend.
Liverpool FC finished in eighth place in the Premier League table in 2015-16 before Jurgen Klopp steered the Reds to fourth spot in his first full season in charge.
The 18-time English champions haven’t won the Premier League title but finished in second place in 2002, 2009 and 2014.
Former Liverpool FC defender Lawrenson doesn’t believe Klopp is close to guiding the Reds to Premier League title glory.
“It won’t happen this season. I think it will still be a few years until they win the title,” Lawrenson told BBC Radio 5 Live.
Klopp won two Bundesliga titles during his seven-season spell at German club Borussia Dortmund.
Liverpool FC haven’t won the English top-flight crown since 1990.
