New Liverpool FC signing sends message to Mohamed Salah
Alisson Becker reveals his delight at the prospect of linking up with Mo Salah again at Liverpool FC

Alisson Becker has revealed his delight at linking up with Mohamed Salah at Liverpool FC.
The Brazilian goalkeeper signed for the Merseyside outfit on Thursday night after having been heavily linked with a move to Anfield for much of the summer transfer window.
Alisson had been linked with a move to Chelsea FC but the 25-year-old opted to link up with Jurgen Klopp’s squad ahead of the Blues.
The goalkeeper knows Salah well after having played along side him at AS Roma before the Egypt international’s move to Liverpool FC from the Italian side last summer.
Salah was one of European football’s top performers last season as he won the PFA player of the year award for his fine displays.
And Alisson has admitted that he is looking forward to seeing his new team-mate again after his move to Liverpool FC was confirmed this week.
Speaking in an interview with Liverpool FC’s website, Alisson said: “We didn’t have that much contact after he left Roma, we met again in the game when we were up against each other.
“Yesterday, he sent me a message saying: ‘Hey, what are you waiting for?’ As the negotiations were at an advanced stage, I replied to him straight away saying: ‘Calm down, I’m on my way!’
“I’m really happy to have the opportunity to play alongside him again.
“As well as being a great player, he is a huge character and a great person – which is the most important thing. To be with these great people and players day to day is fantastic for me.”
Liverpool FC will be looking to challenge for the Premier League title next season as they look to try and win their first major trophy under Klopp next term.
The Reds finished in fourth place in the Premier League and without a trophy last term.
