Liverpool to finally make second summer signing for £39m – report
Liverpool are set to complete the signing of Mohamed Salah from Roma in a deal worth almost £40m, according to reports

Liverpool are finally set to secure their second signing of the summer transfer window with a £39m deal to land Mohamed Salah from Roma, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Reds are set to clinch the signing of the former Chelsea winger in the coming days after the Egypt international jetted to England to undergo a medical and complete the deal.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move to bring Salah to Anfield in recent days but the Reds were thought to be negotiating with Roma about the transfer fee.
Now, it appears that the Merseyside outfit are going to get their man, with Liverpool set to shell out almost £40m including add-ons for the 25-year-old winger.
The same report claims that Salah will undergo a medical with Liverpool on Thursday before finally completing his transfer this week.
Liverpool are believed to be on the lookout for a number of attacking signings this summer as Jurgen Klopp prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next season.
The Reds ended up fourth in the table last term and will play a qualifier to reach the group stage in August.
