Divock Origi sets Liverpool FC target after signing new deal
Divock Origi is focused on helping Liverpool FC to continue pushing for silverware in the coming seasons

Divock Origi has underlined his determination to try and hold down a regular spot in the Liverpool FC team after signing a new contract with the Reds.
The 24-year-old Belgium striker put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with the Red Devils on Wednesday as he ended the speculation about his future and committed himself to the Merseyside outfit.
Origi played an important role in Liverpool FC’s Champions League success last season, scoring twice in the 4-0 win over FC Barcelona in the semi-finals and also netting from the bench in the final against Tottenham Hotspur last month.
Despite his important Champions League exploits, Origi only started four Premier League games for Jurgen Klopp’s side last season.
And the forward will inevitably be keen to try and make himself a more regular fixture in the Liverpool FC team in the coming seasons.
Speaking in an interview with Liverpool FC’s website, Origi said: “[I want] to keep progressing and trying to maximise the potential and talent I have each and every day.
“At the end of my career I want to sit back and be proud that I used all of my gifts and talents.
“I think the next years are going to be very special – prime years, maybe – and I’m going to try to use them to the fullest.”
He added: “Just to keep making steps and exploiting the talent and potential I have, keep serving the team.
“I hope as a team as well we can continue to build on what we achieved already. For me, every day to come here is exciting. It’s exciting times.”
Liverpool FC will be looking to go one step further in the Premier League next season after they finished second in the table and just a point behind champions Manchester City last term.
The Reds will kick off their Premier League campaign with a home clash against Norwich City on 9 August.
