Liverpool FC make contact about signing 22-year-old from FC Barcelona – report
Liverpool FC have made an initial approach about the possibility of signing Ousmane Dembele from FC Barcelona, say reports

Liverpool FC have made an initial approach about the possibility of signing Ousmane Dembele from FC Barcelona this summer, according to reports in the French media.
French outlet L’Equipe, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Reds are interested in bringing the 22-year-old attacker to Anfield this summer.
The same story says that Liverpool FC have “initiated contact” with Dembele as Jurgen Klopp looks to strengthen his attacking options at the Merseyside outfit.
The article also claims that Bayern Munich are also interested in signing the Frenchman this summer.
However, the story also suggests that both Liverpool FC and Bayern may end up being disappointed, because the player himself wants to prove himself at FC Barcelona and the Spanish club are not keen on selling him.
Dembele scored eight goals and made five assists in 29 La Liga appearances for FC Barcelona last season. However, he only started a total of 20 La Liga games last term.
Liverpool FC are most likely looking to make some minor tweaks to their squad ahead of next season after the Reds finished just a point behind Manchester City in the Premier League and won the Champions League last term.
