Owen Hargreaves believes that Liverpool FC are certainly capable of finishing in second place in the Premier League table this season.
The Reds have been in great form in recent weeks and they have been earning plenty of praise for their fine attacking displays under Jurgen Klopp of late.
Liverpool FC are currently in third place in the Premier League table but they know that they will move into second spot if they beat Manchester United in the crunch Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Saturday lunchtime.
Klopp has been charged with at least steering Liverpool FC into the top four for the second season running following their fourth-placed finish last term.
Former Manchester United midfielder feels that the Reds are capable of finishing second, and says Liverpool FC fans should be very excited about what Jurgen Klopp is building at Anfield.
Speaking to BT Sport on Tuesday night, Hargreaves said: “Finishing second in the Premier League would be a great achievement.
“They’re growing, they’re improving. Look at the uncertainty around Arsenal and Chelsea and the issues they have.
“Jurgen Klopp is building something very exciting and special at Liverpool, like he did at Dortmund. That took time and it will come as well at Liverpool.”
Liverpool FC now turn their attentions towards preparing for their crunch Premier League showdown with Manchester United at Old Trafford this weekend.
The Reds head into the game after having secured their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League with a 5-0 aggregate win over FC Porto in the last 16.
