Adam Lallana sends warning to Liverpool FC team-mates ahead of new season
Adam Lallana says it is time for Liverpool FC to start delivering on their potential

Adam Lallana has warned Liverpool FC that it’s now time to go to the “next level” and start winning trophies.
The Reds have been earning plenty of praise for their strong performances under Jurgen Klopp in recent seasons and they were particularly impressive last term as they reach the Champions League final.
Liverpool FC ended up in fourth place in the Premier League table last season and reached the Champions League final, where they ended up losing 3-1 to Real Madrid back in May.
Despite their thrilling attacking football, the Merseyside outfit are still aiming to win their first major trophy since Klopp’s appointment at Anfield back in October 2015.
And midfielder Lallana has conceded that it is time for the Reds to step their game up as they look to try and bring some silverware to Anfield under the German coach.
Speaking in an interview quoted by the Daily Mirror, Lallana said: “It’s a really exciting time.
“I’m delighted to be at a top club like Liverpool that are going to be challenging for trophies again and I’m looking forward to playing for England again.
“For my club, I just want to take the next step now. We’ve been in a few finals that we haven’t been victorious in and that needs to change.
“We’ve got all the ingredients there, the experience we’ve gained and the squad we’ve put together, the signs are really good for us to go the next step.”
Liverpool FC have been relatively busy in the summer transfer market so far, bringing in Naby Keita, Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson Becker as Klopp looks to assemble a team capable of winning the title next term.
The Reds are still being linked with a number of other players before the transfer window closes on 9 August.
