Tim Sherwood makes exciting prediction about Liverpool FC next season
Tim Sherwood is backing Liverpool FC to challenge for the Premier League title next season

Liverpool FC will be Manchester City’s closest challengers in the Premier League next term, according to Tim Sherwood.
The Reds have made some progress under Jurgen Klopp in the German head coach’s second full season at Anfield.
Only runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City have scored more times than Liverpool FC in the Premier League this season.
Liverpool FC have netted 65 times in the current campaign, but the Reds have conceded 32 times in 28 games in the Premier League.
Klopp’s men were the first Premier League team to beat Manchester City this term after a dramatic 4-3 win at Anfield back in January.
Former Spurs boss Sherwood believes Liverpool FC will push Pep Guardiola’s side for the Premier League title next term.
“I think they’re the closest team to be challenging,” Sherwood told Sky Sports before Liverpool FC’s 2-1 loss to Manchester United on Saturday.
“They lost Coutinho which was a big blow. They have coped without him. They have to replace Can. He is an important player.”
Liverpool FC have one foot in the Champions League quarter-finals following a 5-0 win at FC Porto in the first leg of their last-16 clash.
The Reds are looking to win Europe’s premier club competition for the first time since 2005.
