Liverpool FC want to sign 22-year-old German – report
Liverpool FC are monitoring Timo Werner ahead of a possible move to sign the German from RB Leipzig

Liverpool FC are keeping tabs on Timo Werner ahead of a possible transfer move to sign the German from RB Leipzig, according to reports in the British media.
The Independent is reporting that the Merseyside outfit are keen on a move to land the 22-year-old this summer in what could be a double swoop when Naby Keita signs for the Reds from the German side.
The same report also credits Manchester United with an interest in the young forward but Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp is said to be at the front of the queue for his signature.
However, the same story says that Liverpool FC could find it tricky to negotiate with Leipzig for the attacker, given how difficult it was for them to strike a deal with the Bundesliga side to sign Keita this summer.
The attacker has scored 10 goals and made three assists in 24 Bundesliga games for Leipzig so far this season.
Meanwhile, Liverpool FC are currently preparing for their home Premier League clash against Watford at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds are aiming to get back to winning ways in the Premier League after the disappointment of their 2-1 loss to Manchester United last weekend.
