Liverpool FC are pondering making a move to sign Keylor Navas from Real Madrid this summer, say reports
Liverpool FC are pondering making a summer transfer bid to sign Keylor Navas from Real Madrid, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Reds are considering making a move to sign the 31-year-old goalkeeper as a possible alternative to AS Roma shot-stopper Alisson.
The same report says that Liverpool FC are keen to find a long-term replacement for Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius at the Merseyside outfit this summer.
The story claims that Roma goalkeeper Alisson is Liverpool FC’s top target to strengthen at the back this summer, but the Reds are also thought to be keeping tabs on Real Madrid man Navas.
The article says that Real Madrid could be willing to sell Navas this summer because they may make moves to try and sign either Thibaut Courtois or David De Gea.
Meanwhile, Liverpool FC are currently preparing for their home Premier League clash against West Ham United at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds are currently in third place in the Premier League table as they bid to try and finish in the top four for the second season running under Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place under the German manager last season.
