Jurgen Klopp makes honest admission about Xherdan Shaqiri at Liverpool FC
Jurgen Klopp has been pleased by Xherdan Shaqiri's start to life as a Liverpool FC player

Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he has been thrilled with Xherdan Shaqiri’s start to life at Liverpool FC despite the attacker’s lack of playing time so far this season.
The Switzerland international arrived at Anfield in the summer transfer window in a cut-price deal from Stoke City after the Potters were relegated from the Premier League last term.
The 26-year-old has been limited to substitute appearances for the Reds so far this season and he will be hoping to prove himself as worthy of a regular starting spot in the first team in the coming weeks and months.
However, Klopp has insisted that he has been delighted by what he has seen from Shaqiri so far and says that it is only a matter of time before the attacker features more regularly for the Reds.
Speaking in an interview with Liverpool FC’s website, Klopp said: “He is very positive, not only from the performances but as a guy in the dressing room.
“Everyone loves Shaq, that is how it is – and without playing plenty of minutes.
“That is more my mistake than his. He has done everything to play. I made different decisions but his time will come, that is for sure.”
Liverpool FC are aiming to be one of the main challengers for the Premier League title this season after they finished in fourth place and without a trophy last term.
The Reds kicked off their Champions League group stage campaign with a thrilling 3-2 win over Paris Saint-Germain in front of their home fans on Tuesday night at Anfield.
