Graeme Souness tells Liverpool fans what will happen with Philippe Coutinho
Graeme Souness believes that Liverpool are likely to lose Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona this summer

Graeme Souness believes that Liverpool are likely to lose Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
The Brazilian’s future has been a relentless source of speculation in recent days after the Spanish club apparently made him one of their top targets following the sale of Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain.
The plot thickened last week when Coutinho was widely reported to have handed in a transfer request at Melwood, despite Liverpool’s insistence that he is not for sale this summer.
Now, former Liverpool star Souness believes that the Reds are going to struggle to keep hold of the 25-year-old playmaker because of the lure of playing for Barcelona.
Speaking on TV3 in Ireland, Souness replied when asked if Liverpool can keep Coutinho: “I don’t think so.
“The best scenario is Liverpool can hold onto him for another year.
“The way the modern game is, if he wants to go this summer, he will. He will get his way.”
Liverpool took a step closer towards the Champions League group stage on Tuesday night with a 2-1 victory over Hoffenheim in the first leg of their play-off tie.
The Reds now turn their attentions towards their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at Anfield on Saturday in the wake of their 3-3 draw with Watford at Vicarage Road last weekend.
Liverpool finished fourth in the Premier League in Jurgen Klopp’s first full season in charge last term.
