Jamie Redknapp: Liverpool FC signing who will make the difference
The Liverpool FC legend believes Alisson Becker will make the difference next season

Alisson Becker will make a big difference at Liverpool FC in the Premier League title race this season, Jamie Redknapp has claimed.
The Reds were in the market to sign a goalkeeper following Loris Karius’ disastrous performance in the 3-1 loss to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Liverpool FC have spent a world record transfer fee on Alisson after the Merseyside outfit agreed a £67m deal with Serie A giants AS Roma.
The Brazil number one established himself as one of Serie A’s top goalkeepers after he replaced ex-Arsenal shot stopper Wojciech Szczesny.
Liverpool FC have also signed AS Monaco star Fabinho, RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita and Stoke City attacker Xherdan Shaqiri in the summer transfer window so far.
Former Reds captain Redknapp believes Alisson will prove the key signings for Liverpool FC in the title race next term.
Redknapp told Sky Sports’ The Debate: “If you look at the difference a goalkeeper made for Man City last season and now for Liverpool to get Alisson – yes you paid top dollar for him – but he’ll make a huge difference.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season to secure a spot in the Champions League.
The Reds are looking to win their first trophy since Klopp took over the reins from Brendan Rodgers in October 2015.
The 18-time English champions have lost the Europa League, the League Cup and the Champions League under Klopp.
