According to the same story, Firmino has been urging Alisson to complete a move to Liverpool FC from AS Roma this summer.
The Reds forward enjoyed his best season at the Anfield outfit last term following a return of 27 goals in 54 games in all competitions.
Liverpool FC have also signed Alisson’s compatriot Fabinho in a £39m deal from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco at the start of the summer transfer window.
The Reds have been touted with a move to sign a new goalkeeper in the summer transfer window following Loris Karius’ poor performance in the Champions League final.
