Steve McManaman raves about new Liverpool FC signing
The Liverpool FC legend believes the Reds have signed a terrific shot stopper following Alisson Becker's move

Steve McManaman has heaped praise on Liverpool FC signing Alisson Becker following his world record move to the Anfield outfit.
The Reds signed Alisson in a £67m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma to finally solve a long-term position for the 18-time English champions.
The Brazil international will be tasked with replacing Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet in the Liverpool FC goal.
The Merseyside outfit have already spent a world record £75m fee on Netherlands international Virgil van Dijk from Southampton back in January.
Van Dijk has already had a huge impact on Jurgen Klopp’s team after the 27-year-old helped Liverpool FC to reach the Champions League final.
Former Liverpool FC captain McManaman believes Alisson will prove an excellent addition to the Reds side.
“It was always been mooted,” McManaman told ESPN FC.
“The fact that Liverpool got Alisson is a really big signing. It says a lot about what Klopp wants this year.”
Liverpool FC have signed Brazil international Fabinho in a £39m deal from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco in the current transfer window.
The Reds have also signed Guinea international Naby Keita in a £48m switch from RB Leipzig after the two clubs agreed a deal last summer.
Liverpool FC snapped up Swiss star Xherdan Shaqiri in a £13.5m deal from Stoke City.
The Reds finished in fourth spot in the Premier League table last term to qualify for the Champions League.
