Liverpool FC will sign one or two players in the summer transfer window, according to BBC Sport reporter David Ornstein.
The Reds finished in second place in the Premier League table this season after Liverpool FC missed out on title glory by a point.
The Merseyside outfit amassed more points than any other runners-up in Premier League history after the Reds ended up on 97 points following their 2-0 victory over Wolves.
Jurgen Klopp’s signings over the past 18 months have helped Liverpool FC to make big improvements in the Premier League.
Alisson Becker, Virgil van Dijk and Fabinho have all established themselves as key players under the German head coach.
However, Liverpool FC are being tipped to make more signings in the summer in an attempt to overhaul defending champions Manchester City.
But BBC Sport reporter Ornstein has now ruled out Liverpool FC make a host of signings before the new season.
“[Liverpool FC are] the most settled team of the lot, they’re looking at continuity,” Ornstein told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“It will be a very settled summer for them, consolidation seems to be the name of the game, they’ve stockpiled well.
“They’ve essentially done their big shop and they don’t see the need to daily shops and to improve their squad they feel it would take astronomical spending.
“They’re looking at one or a maximum of two signings unless there’s an injury or a player that wants out like Philippe Coutinho.”
Liverpool FC will take on Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final in Madrid on Saturday 1 June.
The Reds came from 3-0 down in the first leg to beat FC Barcelona 4-0 in the return fixture to secure their place in successive Champions League finals.
Liverpool FC have won the European Cup on five previous occasions.
