Liverpool FC prepare to rival Arsenal with €25m bid for Bundesliga goalkeeper – report
Liverpool FC are ready to rival Arsenal for the signature of Bayer Leverkusen shot stopper Bernd Leno, according to a report

Liverpool FC are ready to move for Arsenal target Bernd Leno if the Reds are left frustrated in their pursuit of other summer targets, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Merseyside outfit will turn to the Germany international as a last resort should their preferred choice prove unattainable.
The same article states that Liverpool FC could end up being priced out of deals to AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker and Atletico Madrid shot stopper Jan Oblak.
According to the same story, the Reds would be willing to put a €25m bid on the table for the Leverkusen goalkeeper, although Liverpool FC will face competition from Arsenal.
However, Jurgen Klopp would be able to offer Leno Champions League football next season, something that won’t be available at the north London side.
But Liverpool FC supporters could be concerned about signing another German shot stopper from the Bundesliga given Loris Karius’ underwhelming performances at Anfield so far.
The Reds signed Karius in a £4.7m deal from Mainz 05 in 2016 but the former Manchester City youth star has struggled to impress.
Karius started in the Champions League final last month following an impressive second half of the 2017-18 season.
The German shot stopper made two mistakes in a 3-1 loss to Spanish giants Real Madrid in the Champions League showpiece.
