Michael Owen addresses Philippe Coutinho’s situation at Liverpool FC
The Liverpool FC legend believes Philippe Coutinho could still be tempted by a move to Barcelona in January

Michael Owen admits Liverpool FC star Philippe Coutinho could be tempted to move to Barcelona in the January transfer window.
The Brazil international continues to be linked with a move to the La Liga giants despite Liverpool FC managing to see off interest from Barcelona in the summer.
Indeed, 25-year-old attacker Coutinho handed in a transfer request at Anfield amid a number of tempting offers from Barcelona in the most recent transfer window.
Jurgen Klopp took his time reintroducing Coutinho back to the Liverpool FC team following his summer transfer saga.
The former Inter Milan midfielder has scored five goals in his last two appearances in all competitions to return to top form with less than a month until the January transfer window.
Coutinho has scored nine goals and has made six assists in 14 appearances in all competitions so far this season to continue to attract interest from Barcelona.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen believes Coutinho could still leave the Merseyside outfit in the January transfer window.
“There has to be a chance [that Coutinho will leave in January],” Owen told BT Sport.
“Barcelona courted him quite aggressively last time and the word is that they haven’t gone away. I think they still fancy Coutinho so that will be really interesting over the winter.”
Liverpool FC were drawn against FC Porto in the Champions League last-16 draw on Monday.
The Reds signed Coutinho in an £8.5m deal from Inter Milan in the 2013 January transfer window.
