Liverpool FC are interested in a potential swoop to sign Ajax winger David Neres this summer, according to a report in England.
The Sun is reporting that the Reds are interested in a deal to sign the 22-year-old following his impressive performances for Ajax this season.
The same article states that Liverpool FC will face competition from their Premier League rivals Arsenal and Chelsea FC for Neres’ signature.
According to the same story, the Merseyside outfit want to be kept in the loop if Dutch side Ajax decide to sell the Brazilian forward this summer.
The Sun report goes on to add that the Eredivisie outfit will be keen to make a substantial profit on their £13m investment in Neres back in 2017.
The Brazilian starlet has scored eight goals and has made eight assists in 29 games in the Dutch top flight this term.
Neres has also netted twice and made two goals in 10 fixtures in the Champions League to underline his European pedigree.
Liverpool FC are bound to be linked with a host of players in the summer as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his Liverpool FC team.
The Reds – who reached the Champions League final on Tuesday night – are in second place in the Premier League table and a point behind Manchester City with one game left to play in the current campaign.
