Domagoj Vida wants to move to Liverpool FC from Besiktas in the summer transfer window, according to a report

Domagoj Vida is eager to move to Liverpool FC from Besiktas before transfer deadline day, according to a report in Turkey.
Turkish media outlet Milliyet, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the 29-year-old is eager to complete a switch to Liverpool FC from Besiktas this month.
The same article states that Liverpool FC aren’t interested in completing any more deals in the summer transfer window to cast doubt on Vida’s potential switch to Anfield.
According to the same story, Vida wants to move to the 18-time English champions after Liverpool FC held informal talks with Besiktas over a potential deal.
Vida forged an impressive partnership with Liverpool FC centre-half Dejan Lovren to help Croatia reach the World Cup final.
Indeed, the Besikitas defender impressed in Croatia’s 2-1 extra-time win over England in the World Cup last four.
However, Croatia lost 4-2 to France in the World Cup final but Vida and his compatriots returned to their country as heroes.
Liverpool FC haven’t won the Premier League title but the additions of Fabinho, Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson Becker have put the Reds in a strong position.
The Reds made Virgil van Dijk the most expensive defender in the world following his £75m move to Liverpool FC from Southampton in the January transfer window.
