Liverpool FC reach agreement in principle for fifth summer signing – report
Liverpool FC have reached an agreement to sign Domagoj Vida from Besiktas this summer, according to reports

Liverpool FC have reached an agreement “in principle” to sign Domagoj Vida from Besiktas this summer, according to reports in the Turkish media.
Turkish outlet A Spor, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Reds are closing in on a deal to sign the 29-year-old defender this summer.
According to the same report, Vida has “signed” a two-year contract with Liverpool FC, with the option for a third.
The same article says that although the Reds are thought to have agreed terms with Vida’s camp, they must now agree a deal to match Besiktas’ asking price of €25m (£22.2m).
Vida earned plenty of praise for his strong performances for Croatia at the World Cup in Russia this summer as he helped them to reach the final, where they lost to France.
Liverpool FC have already been busy in the summer transfer market so far, having tied up deals for Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri, Fabinho and Alisson Becker.
Jurgen Klopp will be looking to steer his team towards a Premier League title challenge next season as Liverpool FC look to try and win their first trophy under the German manager since his appointment back in 2015.
