Liverpool FC are hoping to beat Juventus to PSV star Donyell Malen, according to a report

Liverpool FC have entered the race to sign PSV Eindhoven star Donyell Malen ahead of the 2021 summer transfer window, according to a report in Italy.
Italian media outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport, as quoted by TEAMtalk, is reporting that Liverpool FC are interested in signing the 22-year-old at the end of the 2020-21 Premier League season.
The same article states that Liverpool FC are looking to improve their attacking options following a difficult season for Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
According to the same story, the defending Premier League champions are facing competition from Serie A duo Juventus and AC Milan.
Gazzetta Dello Sport go on to reveal that Liverpool FC are favourites to sign Malen given their ability to outbid the two Italian clubs.
The report goes on to add that PSV are aware that Liverpool FC could afford to larger transfer fee than AC Milan and Juve.
The media outlet go on to add that the Dutch side are looking to secure a transfer fee in the region of €30m.
Malen has scored 15 times and has made six assists in 26 games in the Eredivisie this season to help PSV challenge for the Dutch top-flight crown.
The Netherlands international has scored 51 times in 110 games in all competitions over the past four seasons at PSV.
Malen spent two seasons at Arsenal before he returned to PSV in 2018.
