Liverpool FC are eyeing a potential deal to sign France Under-19 international Enzo Valentim, according to a report in England.
Website Football Insider, as quoted by Sports Mole, is reporting that the Merseyside outfit are interest in the 18-year-old Stade Reims star.
The same article states that Liverpool FC are hoping to put together a package to sign the 18-year-old, with the Reds having one eye on the future.
According to the same story, the 18-time English champions could face competition from Championship sides Stoke City and Leeds United for the teenager’s signature.
The report adds that Jurgen Klopp is hoping to use Trent Alexander-Arnold as proof that Liverpool FC will give youth a chance at the Champions League winners.
Liverpool FC signed 17-year-old Dutch defender Sepp van den Berg in a £1.6m deal from FC Twolle in the summer transfer window.
The Reds won the Champions League last season with a 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Madrid final thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi.
Liverpool FC finished in second place in the Premier League table last term after the Reds ended up a point adrift of champions Manchester City.
The Reds will start the 2019-20 Premier League season with a clash against Championship winners Norwich City at Anfield on 9 August.
