Jamie Redknapp believes Liverpool FC have enjoyed a near perfect summer transfer window.
The Reds have been very busy in the summer transfer window following the disappointment of a 3-1 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
Liverpool FC’s biggest deal of the summer was the world record signing of AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker in a £67m deal to replace Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet.
Germany international Emre Can moved to Serie A giants Juventus on a free transfer but Klopp has spent almost £100m on AS Monaco’s Fabinho and RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita.
The Reds signed Switzerland international Xherdan Shaqiri in a £13.5m deal from relegated Stoke City to improve his attacking options ahead of the new campaign.
Liverpool FC were linked with a move to sign Lyon star Nabil Fekir but his proposed £57m collapsed due to concerns about a long-standing knee problem.
Former England international Redknapp is impressed with Klopp’s transfer business ahead of the new Premier League season.
“With the players they’ve bought in, I don’t know what else they could have done,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.
“They always seem to buy players and Klopp turns them into stars and match winners and players that will be worth so much more than they already are.
“There is a pressure to a certain extent but it’s a positive pressure.”
The Reds will start their Premier League campaign with a clash against West Ham United at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season.
