Liverpool FC to rival Man United for £35m-rated Ligue 1 midfielder – report
Liverpool FC are interested in signing Manchester United target Jean Michael Seri in a £35m deal, according to The Sun

Liverpool FC are ready to enter the race with Manchester United to sign Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri, according to a report in England.
The Sun is reporting that the Reds are interested in signing the 26-year-old Ligue 1 midfielder but Liverpool FC will face competition from Arsenal and Manchester United.
The same article states that Seri will be available for £35m in the summer due to a contract release clause in the dynamic midfielder’s contract with Nice.
Liverpool FC want to improve their midfield options despite the imminent arrival of Naby Keita in a £48m deal from German club RB Leipzig.
The Reds could lose German midfielder Emre Can in the summer as Serie A giants Juventus look to sign the versatile midfielder on a free transfer.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are facing an uncertain future surrounding Paul Pogba following his recent struggles under Jose Mourinho.
Seri was heavily linked with a move to La Liga giants Barcelona last summer but a move failed to materialise.
The 26-year-old has scored one goal and has made three assists in 20 appearances in Ligue 1 this season.
Liverpool FC are in third place in the Premier League table and two points behind Manchester United in runners-up spot.
