Jose Mourinho rates Liverpool FC’s summer signings
The Manchester United manager is impressed with Liverpool FC's transfer activity so far

Jose Mourinho has praised Liverpool FC for investing their money in “quality” signings this summer.
The Merseyside club have been one of the busiest Premier League sides in the summer transfer window so far.
The Reds started their summer spending with the £39m addition of Brazil international Fabinho from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.
Liverpool FC further bolstered their options in the middle of the park with the signing of Guinea international Naby Keita in a £48m deal from RB Leipzig.
World Cup star Xherdan Shaqiri completed a cut price £13.5m move to Liverpool FC from relegated Stoke City earlier this month.
Liverpool FC have also signed Brazil number one Alisson Becker in a world record £67m fee from Serie A giants AS Roma to finally solve their problem in goal.
Asked about Manchester United’s rivals and their summer transfer business so far, Mourinho said:
“I think if you have the money, if you invest well, it is better than to have it in the bank. Because the interest rates are very low.
“The problem is you have to invest well and honestly I think they did very well, because every player they bought are quality players. I’m happy for them.”
However, the Reds managed to reach a first Champions League final in 11 seasons before a 3-1 loss to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the European Cup showpiece in Kiev.
