Liverpool could sign 24-year-old German before deadline day – report
Liverpool FC could make a transfer move to try and sign Kerem Demirbay from Hoffenheim, say reports

Liverpool are weighing up a transfer move to sign Hoffenheim midfielder Kerem Demirbay before Thursday’s deadline, according to reports in Germany.
German outlet Sport-Bild, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that Jurgen Klopp is keen to try and bring Demirbay to Anfield as he looks to bolster his squad before the transfer deadline.
According to the same report, Klopp has revealed his admiration for the 24-year-old Germany international and has told him that he sees him as a Liverpool-type player.
The same story says that Klopp was pictured embracing Demirbay following Liverpool’s 6-3 aggregate victory over Hoffenheim in the Champions League play-off round last week.
Liverpool have been linked with a host of players throughout the summer transfer window, but the Reds have so far only concluded deals to sign Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Dominic Solanke.
The Reds won their first Premier League game of the season last weekend when they beat Crystal Palace at Anfield in their first home clash of the campaign.
The Merseyside outfit are now looking to make it three successive wins at Anfield as they prepare to host Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Liverpool will take on Spartak Moscow, Sevilla and Maribor in the Champions League group stage after the draw was made on Thursday.
