Klopp wants Liverpool FC to make January signings in two positions – report
Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp wants to sign a new centre-half and goalkeeper in January, according to reports

Jurgen Klopp wants Liverpool FC to sign a new centre-half and goalkeeper in the January transfer window, according to reports in England.
The Sunday Express is reporting that the Liverpool FC boss wants to strengthen his leaky defence next month following a mixed start to the 2017-18 season.
The Reds have conceded 19 goals in their opening 15 games as their poor defending continues to undermine their impressive attacking performances.
Klopp was forced to start midfielders Emre Can and Georginio Wijnaldum at centre-half alongside Dejan Lovren for their 5-1 win at Brighton in the absence of Joe Gomez and Joel Matip.
Unsurprisingly, the Sunday Express are reporting that a new centre-half is on Klopp’s transfer wish list after Liverpool FC failed to sign Virgil van Dijk from Southampton in the summer.
According to the same report, the Reds are in the market to sign a new goalkeeper given the unconvincing performances of Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius in the Premier League and the Champions League.
Klopp failed to improve on Mignolet when he brought in error-prone Karius from Mainz in the 2016 summer transfer window.
Liverpool FC are in fourth place in the Premier League table and a point ahead of Arsenal in the race to secure a Champions League spot.
