Liverpool warned about 22-year-old’s ‘extraordinary’ transfer fee
ESPN journalist Gabriele Marcotti says Liverpool shouldn't meet RB Leipzig's £70m valuation of Naby Keita

Gabriele Marcotti has described Naby Keita’s reported price tag as “extraordinary” amid talk of a move to Liverpool.
The Guinea international has emerged as one of the Bundesliga’s best prospects following his first season in the German top flight.
Keita scored nine goals and made eight assists in 31 appearances in Bundesliga last term to help RB Leipzig finish behind champions Bayern Munich.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Liverpool this summer after the midfielder revealed the Reds attempted to sign in 2016.
However, Keita completed a £12.75m switch to RB Leipzig from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg.
And ESPN reporter Marcotti admitted that the German club’s reported £70m asking price for Keita is crazy.
“It seems to me to be an extraordinary amount of money for a guy who gifted as he is has one year of top flight football,” Marcotti told ESPN FC.
Liverpool have already broken their transfer record once this summer after the Reds completed the £36.7m signing of Egypt winger Mohamed Salah from Serie A side AS Roma.
Klopp has also signed England Under-20 international Dominic Solanke in a free transfer from Premier League champions Chelsea.
