Liverpool tell PSG to forget about signing 24-year-old worth £87m – report
Liverpool reject PSG'S approach to sign £87m-rated Philippe Coutinho this summer, according to reports in the English media

Liverpool have rejected an approach from Paris Saint-Germain to sign Philippe Coutinho and have placed an £87m price tag on the Brazilian, according to reports in the English media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that Liverpool have knocked back interest from the Ligue 1 side in their key Brazil international in the summer transfer window.
The same article states that La Liga giants Barcelona are also interested in the South American but have a different strategy to PSG.
Liverpool have told PSG that Coutinho would cost the cash-rich side £87m as the Ligue 1 runners-up look to rebuild after missing out to AS Monaco in the title race.
The 24-year-old played a key role in securing Liverpool’s return to the Champions League thanks to a fourth-placed finish last term.
Coutinho scored seven times in his last 10 outings in the Premier League to finish the 2016-17 season in scintillating fashion.
The Brazilian midfielder appears to be comfortable at Anfield and share a close friendship with fellow Brazilians Lucas Leiva and Roberto Firmino as well as Spanish defender Alberto Moreno.
Liverpool have signed England Under-20 international Dominic Solanke and AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah in the summer transfer window so far.
