Insider claims Liverpool could sell Philippe Coutinho to fund top 18-year-old signing
beIN sport reporter Tancredi Palmeri claims Philippe Coutinho's sale could allow Liverpool to sign Kylian Mbappe this summer

Liverpool could sell Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona to fund a deal to sign Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe, according to Tancredi Palmeri.
The Brazil international has been regularly linked with a move to the La Liga giants over the past 24 months since his team-mate Luis Suarez completed a £65m move to Barcelona.
Coutinho was instrumental in helping Jurgen Klopp’s side to finish in the Premier League’s top four ahead of bitter rivals Arsenal and Manchester United last season.
Indeed, the 24-year-old scored seven times and created two goals in his final 10 appearances to help Liverpool to secure a place in the Champions League next term.
Liverpool have been touted as a potential destination for Monaco’s star forward Mbappe in the summer transfer window amid competition from FA Cup winners Arsenal and Real Madrid.
And Serie A expert Palmeri claimed that Coutinho’s potential sale to Barcelona would allow Liverpool to fund a bid to sign Mbappe.
Palmeri wrote on Twitter: “Liverpool have communicated to Barcelona that the pricetag for Coutinho is 90m€, which in case would be invested to get Mbappe”
The 18-time English champions have signed two players in the summer transfer window so far after completing deals for Chelsea forward Dominic Solanke and AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool signed seven players last summer as Klopp overhauled the squad that he inherited from Brendan Rodgers back in October 2015.
