Insider reveals Liverpool FC won’t sign 24-year-old attacker
Sky Sports News reporter Michael Bridge won't sign Lyon captain Nabil Fekir this summer

Liverpool FC are unlikely to sign Lyon captain Nabil Fekir in the summer transfer window, reporter Michael Bridge has claimed.
The France international has been regularly linked with a move to Liverpool FC since the conclusion of the Premier League campaign last month.
Fekir was thought to be close on a £57m move to Liverpool FC from Lyon earlier this month as the Reds looked to improve their attacking options.
However, the France international’s deal fell through after concerns emerged about the 24-year-old’s long-standing injury problem.
Sky Sports News reporter Bridge has ruled out Fekir moving to the 18-time English champions in the current transfer window despite talk of the Reds rekindling their interest.
“We all thought it was done,” Bridge told the Transfer Talk podcast.
“There were complications over a medical. It scuppered the deal. There is so much confusion.
“Since the cancellation of the deal, they’ve brought in Shaqiri and Alisson. I imagine they will look at outgoings.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table after a 4-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion on the final day of the season.
The Reds signed Brazil international Fabinho in a £40m deal from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco earlier this summer.
Guinea international Naby Keita has also linked up with the Liverpool FC team-mates following his £48m switch from RB Leipzig.
Xherdan Shaqiri became their third signing from Stoke before the Reds spent a world record transfer fee for a goalkeeper on AS Roma star Alisson Becker.
