Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol says Liverpool FC are working hard to sign Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir

Liverpool FC are working very hard to complete a deal to sign Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir, Kaveh Solhekol has confirmed.
The Reds are rumoured to be in the market to sign the France international in the 2018 summer transfer window.
The Merseyside outfit have funds to spend on new attacking talent after Philippe Coutinho’s £142m move to FC Barcelona in the January transfer window.
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League.
The Reds lost 3-1 to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev to extend their wait to win a first trophy under Jurgen Klopp.
Fekir would be able to add more depth to the Liverpool FC squad ahead of Jurgen Klopp’s third full season in charge at Anfield.
Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol confirmed that the Reds are working very hard on a deal to sign the Lyon captain.
“The issue with Fekir is Liverpool are being smart,” Solhekol told the Transfer Talk podcast.
“They are trying to get a deal done early before the World Cup. Liverpool are trying to sign Fekir behind the scenes.”
Fekir scored 18 times and made eight assists in 30 appearances in Ligue 1 last season to finish in third place in the French top flight.
