Liverpool FC are not planning to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes this summer, according to a report in England.
The Evening Standard is reporting that the Reds have no interest in 24-year-old playmaker Fernandes despite the Portugal international being linked with a move to the Anfield side.
The same article says that Liverpool FC won’t rival their bitter rivals Manchester United for the Sporting Lisbon star’s signature in the 2019 summer transfer window.
According to the same story, Liverpool FC are in negotiations with the Portuguese club to sell Rafael Camacho ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Evening Standard goes on to report that Sporting Lisbon want to bring the full-back home to his boyhood club after the 19-year-old started his youth career at the club.
The report goes on to say that Sporting Lisbon were interested in signing Camacho in January but found it difficult to get a deal over the line in the transfer window earlier this year.
Liverpool FC finished in second place in the Premier League table last term with an incredible 97 points but fell just short of champions Manchester City.
However, the Reds won the Champions League for the sixth time thanks to a 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in Madrid earlier this month.
