Liverpool FC keeping tabs on promising 17-year-old defender – report
Liverpool FC are keeping a close eye on the development of teenage defender Perr Schuurs, say reports

Liverpool are keeping tabs on promising 17-year-old defender Perr Schuurs ahead of a possible transfer swoop for the teenager, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Reds are keeping a close eye on his development after the teenager was invited to Liverpool for a brief training stint earlier this year.
The same report says that the 6ft 3ins centre-half, who has scored three goals this season, is also attracting interest from the likes of Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City.
The story goes on to report that Liverpool scouts were in attendance to watch him in action when he recently played for the Holland U19s against Hungary and Slovenia.
Should Liverpool make a move to try and sign the Fortuna Sittard defender, the player would find it difficult to turn down a move, says the report.
The same story claims that Jurgen Klopp considers Schuurs as “one for the future”, with the German manager still keen to try and sign Virgil van Dijk from Southampton to bolster his defensive options.
Liverpool were held to a goalless draw by Manchester United in their most recent Premier League clash on Saturday to leave them nine points off the leaders.
