Bundesliga expert Raphael Honigstein believes Liverpool FC could reach an agreement to sign Christian Pulisic next season

Liverpool FC could agree to a deal to sign Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund before the teenager moves next summer, Bundesliga expert Raphael Honigstein has claimed.
The Reds have been regularly linked with a move to sign the United States international since Jurgen Klopp took over the reins from Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool FC in 2015.
Pulisic has continued to develop into an exciting player at Dortmund despite Klopp leaving the Bundesliga outfit despite having signed the 19-year-old.
The American playmaker scored two goals and made one assist in a 3-1 win over Liverpool FC in the International Champions Cup last week to prompt a fresh wave of speculation.
Liverpool FC signed Guinea international Naby Keita from RB Leipzig last month after the Reds agreed a £48m fee with the German club back in 2016.
Bundesliga expert Honigstein believes Liverpool FC could work out a deal with Dortmund this summer before Pulisic completes a transfer next year.
“Liverpool have been very smart in recent years,” Honigstein told ESPN FC. “They could do a Naby Keita.
“They could say, ‘next summer Dortmund will have to sell you, why don’t you come to us then and we’ll do a deal now.’”
The Reds lost 3-1 to Real Madrid in the Champions League final last season, while Liverpool FC finished in fourth spot.
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League.
