Liverpool FC won't be signing Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic this summer, Raphael Honigstein says

Liverpool FC won’t be signing Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic this summer, according to German football expert Raphael Honigstein.
The Reds have been regularly linked with a move to sign the United States international since Jurgen Klopp took over the reins from Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool FC in 2015.
Pulisic has continued to develop into an exciting player at Dortmund despite Klopp leaving the Bundesliga outfit despite having signed the 19-year-old.
The American playmaker scored two goals and made one assist in a 3-1 win over Liverpool FC in the International Champions Cup last week to prompt a fresh wave of speculation.
Bundesliga expert Honigstein believes Liverpool FC won’t be signing the United States international in the near future.
“My sources close to the club tell me that something isn’t imminent,” Honigstein told ESPN FC.
“If someone comes in with a big bid, they will have to think about it. They expect him to be there next season.”
The Reds lost 3-1 to Real Madrid in the Champions League final last season, while Liverpool FC finished in fourth spot.
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League.
Klopp took over the reins from Brendan Rodgers back in October 2015 after Liverpool FC made a slow start to the season.
The Reds haven’t won the Premier League title but finished in second place in 2002, 2009 and 2014.
