Liverpool FC cool interest in 22-year-old attacker linked with Arsenal – report
Liverpool FC are being put off by Monaco's £90m asking price for Thomas Lemar, according to reports

Liverpool FC have cooled their interest in signing Thomas Lemar from Monaco this month because they are not willing to match the Ligue 1 club’s £90m asking price, according to reports in the British media.
The Times is reporting that the Reds have reduced their interest in signing the 22-year-old France international because of the big price-tag placed in Lemar by Monaco.
The same story says that Monaco informed interested clubs this month that they were fixed on a price of £90m for Lemar, the same amount Arsenal are reported to have offered for his services last summer.
That huge valuation has reportedly caused Liverpool FC to tone down their interest in the attacking midfielder, who the Reds are said to value at closer to £60m.
Lemar has long been linked with a move to the Premier League and he was touted as a target for Arsenal last summer.
The 22-year-old has scored two goals and made four assists in 14 Ligue 1 appearances for Liverpool FC so far this season.
Liverpool FC have already been busy in the January transfer window so far, after tying up a deal to land defender Virgil van Dijk from Southampton.
The Merseyside outfit have also agreed to sell Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.
