Liverpool FC are pondering a January bid to sign Thorgan Hazard, according to reports
Liverpool FC are preparing a January transfer bid to try and sign Borussia Monchengladbach winger Thorgan Hazard, according to reports.
German website Liga Financial is reporting that the Reds are considering a move to bring the 25-year-old to Anfield when the mid-season transfer window opens in the new year.
According to the same story, Liverpool FC are on the lookout for attacking reinforcements and Hazard, the younger brother of Chelsea FC star Eden, could fit the bill.
The same story says that Liverpool FC are ready to shell out a considerable transfer fee to try and land him in the new year but could face competition from the likes of Manchester United.
Whether there is any truth to the report remains to be seen, as the source is not really known for being a highly credible one.
That being said, Hazard has been in fine form for the German side so far this season so he may well be attracting interest from some of Europe’s top clubs.
The 25-year-old has scored eight goals and made six assists in 14 Bundesliga appearances so far this season.
Liverpool FC could well be on the lookout for some significant reinforcements in the January transfer window as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his squad and help them maintain a Premier League title challenge.
