Jurgen Klopp gives latest update on Mo Salah ahead of Liverpool FC v FC Barcelona
Liverpool FC are waiting to discover the extent of the injury suffered by Mo Salah at Newcastle United

Liverpool FC are waiting to discover the extent of the injury suffered by Mohamed Salah during their dramatic 3-2 win over Newcastle United on Saturday night.
Salah had to be carried off on a stretcher in the second half at St James’ Park following a collision with Martin Dubravka.
Goals from Virgil van Dijk, Salah and Divock Origi wrapped up the three points for Jurgen Klopp’s men as they moved back to the top of the Premier League table ahead of Manchester City’s clash with Leicester City at The Etihad on Monday night.
Liverpool FC will return to Champions League action on Tuesday night when they host FC Barcelona in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final clash at Anfield.
And Klopp has revealed that the Reds must wait to assess the extent of Salah’s injury after he was forced off in Saturday’s tie.
Speaking at his post-match news conference at St James’ Park, Klopp said: “What I heard, he got the hip of the goalie on his head.
“He was then on the ground and the doc had to make a decision ‘on the pitch or off the pitch’, and the decision was off the pitch. We accept that of course.
“When he came in he was sitting in the dressing room watching the game on television. So he was then fine, but of course we have to wait. He got a proper knock, obviously, in that situation.”
Liverpool FC are currently top of the table and two points ahead of Manchester City ahead of the Citizens’ clash with the Foxes.
The Reds will complete their Premier League season with a home clash against Wolves next Sunday afternoon.
