Guillem Balague predicts Liverpool FC v Man City in Champions League
Guillem Balague looks ahead to Manchester City's clash with Liverpool FC in the Champions League quarter-finals

Guillem Balague feels that Manchester City will have the edge when they take on Liverpool FC in the quarter-finals of the Champions League next month.
The two Premier League sides were pitted against each other as they both prepare to face off in the Champions League clash for a place in the semi-finals.
Liverpool FC booked their place in the last eight thanks to a dominant 5-0 aggregate win over FC Porto in the last 16, while Manchester City overcame Swiss side FC Basel over two legs.
The Merseyside outfit got the better of Pep Guardiola’s men when the two teams last met in the Premier League as Liverpool FC claimed a 4-3 victory at Anfield.
However, Spanish football expert Balague seems to think that the Premier League leaders are the clear favourites heading into the tie.
Speaking to Sky Sports News on Friday, Balague said: “City are playing the best football in Europe but Klopp is the manager that has beaten Guardiola more than any other.
“Many say City are favourites but I feel Pep has in consideration the fact that City has only played 52 games in Europe. It is a work in progress! Juve, Real, Barcelona, Bayern… those are the favourites.
“Against Liverpool it feels very much like a coin in the air, they will attack. So will City. Let’s see who blinks first.
“I give City a bit of advantage because they have shown such a consistency this season and their defence is stronger. But those will be games not to miss.”
Liverpool FC do not return to Premier League action until after the forthcoming international break, when they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on 31 March.
The Reds are looking to try and finish in the top four once again this season after they booked their place in the Champions League following a fourth-placed finish last term.
