Paul Merson predicts Liverpool FC v West Ham
Paul Merson is backing Liverpool FC to beat West Ham at Anfield on Sunday

Paul Merson is backing Liverpool FC to get their Premier League campaign off to a winning start by beating West Ham United 2-0 at Anfield on Sunday.
The Reds are preparing for their first game of the new season as they look to try and establish themselves as one of the main contenders for the Premier League title this season.
Liverpool FC are still aiming to win their first trophy under Klopp since his appointment as the Merseyside outfit’s new manager back in October 2015.
The Reds finished in fourth place in the table last term and earned plenty of praise as they finished up as runners-up to Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Liverpool FC were busy in the summer transfer window as they brought in Naby Keita, Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson Becker ahead of the new campaign.
And former Arsenal star Merson is fully expecting to see Liverpool FC claim all three points when they host the east London side this weekend.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Merson said: “I can’t see anything but a Liverpool win. West Ham have bought well but so have Liverpool.
“Jurgen Klopp has targeted where he needs to strengthen and I expect Alisson, Naby Keita, Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri to improve them.
“They look a really good team and this is a really tough start for Mauricio Pellegrini.”
Liverpool FC will be aiming to challenge Manchester City’s dominance at the top of the Premier League this season after the Citizens ran away with the title last term.
