Michael Owen states his prediction for Liverpool FC v West Ham
The Liverpool FC legend believes the Reds will ease to victory over West Ham on Sunday afternoon

Michael Owen is tipping Liverpool FC to ease to a comfortable win over West Ham United at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
The Merseyside outfit have been very busy in the summer transfer window as Jurgen Klopp looked to build a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League title.
Liverpool FC have recruited Brazil international Fabinho in a £39m deal from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco and RB Leipzig star Naby Keita to improve their options in the middle of the park.
The Reds have also signed Switzerland international Xherdan Shaqiri in a £13.5m deal from relegated Stoke City to add more variety to his Liverpool FC squad.
The Merseyside club spent £67m on Brazil international Alisson Becker to add the shot stopper from AS Roma to replace goalkeepers Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen believes the Reds will secure a win over West Ham United at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
“West Ham have lost 61 top-flight games against Liverpool and I expect Jurgen Klopp’s side to make a winning start to the campaign although you get the impression that this new-look West Ham side will give the Reds a decent test in another game that promises goals,” Owen told BetVictor.
“I feel the signing of Alisson might be the last piece of the jigsaw for Jurgen Klopp, but new Hammers’ boss Manuel Pellegrini has also been backed in the transfer market and this is another opening weekend clash that should be as entertaining as informative.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League.
The Reds lost 3-1 to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev last term following goals from Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale.
