Liverpool have big advantage over Chelsea, claims Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho believes Liverpool have a “big, big advantage” over Chelsea ahead of Sunday’s clash at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are currently a place above Liverpool after Mourinho’s men were 1-0 winners against Swansea, whilst the Reds suffered a 2-1 defeat by Manchester City.

Liverpool are currently fighting on one front after missing out on European football this term, as well as being knocked out of the Capital One Cup in the fourth round.
And Mourinho reckons Rodgers is feeling the benefit of being able to spend more time with
his players on the training ground, as well as having a fresher squad.
“Rodgers is doing fantastic, but he is training every week in a calm way, every day, maybe twice a day, which is a big, big, big advantage,” Mourinho said.
“He needs to work well, because you can work a lot and work bad. The credit is, he works well, but he has a big advantage compared to other teams.
“Not being in European competition gives them an advantage, not in terms of resting but in terms of working.
“They can work. My players are going to play 60 matches, while Liverpool players are going to play 40 matches. It is a big difference.”
