Michael Owen states his prediction for Liverpool v Huddersfield
The former Liverpool striker is backing Mohamed Salah to score against Huddersfield Town at Anfield this weekend

Michael Owen is backing Mohamed Salah to get on the score sheet when Liverpool welcome Huddersfield Town to Anfield this weekend.
The Reds will host the promoted side in search of their first win in four Premier League games after last weekend’s resounding 4-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.
Liverpool have conceded 15 goals in five games on the road in the Premier League this season so Jurgen Klopp’s side will be pleased to return to the relative sanctuary of Anfield.
The Merseyside outfit will welcome a Huddersfield team fresh from their historic 2-1 victory over Manchester United at John Smith’s Stadium last weekend.
Huddersfield boss David Wagner worked under Klopp during their spell together at Borussia Dortmund before the 48-year-old took over the reins from Brendan Rodgers at Anfield in October 2015.
Former Liverpool striker Owen is backing Salah to continue his excellent goal-scoring run with a goal against Huddersfield this weekend.
“Jurgen Klopp’s side need a result at the weekend when hosting Huddersfield at Anfield,” Owen told BetVictor.
“The Reds have the opportunity to enter the international break on a rare high when welcoming the Terriers from across the Pennines and, whilst a lot will be made of the friendship between the two managers, it shouldn’t detract from the fact that Liverpool need to react from last weekend’s disappointing 4-1 defeat to Spurs at Wembley.
“Tip: Mo Salah to score anytime.”
Salah scored Liverpool’s only goal in a humiliating 4-1 loss to Tottenham at Wembley last weekend.
The Egypt international has scored 10 goals and has made five assists in 16 appearances for club and country this term.
Liverpool have slipped down to ninth place in the Premier League table and three points adrift of fourth-placed Watford after 10 games.
