Liverpool close to agreement for second summer signing – report
Liverpool are closing on signing Mohamed Salah in a £35m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma, according to reports

Liverpool are close to completing the £35m signing of Mohamed Salah from AS Roma, according to reports in the English media.
Sky Sports is reporting that the Reds are on the brink of reaching an agreement with Serie A over a transfer fee for the Egypt international.
The same article is stating that Liverpool are close to matching Roma’s £35m asking price after failing with a £28m bid earlier this month.
Salah is thought to have agreed terms with the Merseyside outfit already, leaving Liverpool with the sole task of reaching agreement with AS Roma.
The 25-year-old was one of the most-productive players in Serie A last season after an impressive return of 15 goals and 11 assists.
Salah moved to Chelsea ahead of Liverpool in an £11m deal from Swiss side Basel in the 2014 January transfer window.
However, the African forward struggled to have an impact at Stamford Bridge and was sent out on loan to Fiorentina in the 2014-15 season.
Liverpool’s only summer signing so far is Dominic Solanke after the striker moved to Anfield in a free transfer from Premier League champions Chelsea.
