Jamie Carragher predicts where Liverpool will finish
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher is backing Jurgen Klopp's side to finish in the Premier League's top four

Jamie Carragher is backing Liverpool to finish in the Premier League’s top four this season.
The 18-time English champions eased to a 3-1 win against their local rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
Sadio Mane broke the deadlock before Matthew Pennington cancelled out the Senegal international’s goal with an equaliser in his first derby.
However, Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho restored Liverpool’s lead before half-time and Divock Origi sealed three points in the second half.
Liverpool are in third place in the Premier League table and six points clear of fifth-placed Manchester United in the top-four race.
The Reds don’t have to face a team in the top seven in their remaining eight games in the 2016-17 Premier League season.
Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ on Monday about Liverpool’s prospects in the top-four race race, Carragher said:
“I always feel that if Liverpool or Tottenham get in the top four then it’s been a great season because they don’t have the budgets of the other sides who are going for the title.
“The position that they’re in, I think they’d be massively disappointed if they don’t make it into the top four with the points gap over Arsenal and Manchester United.
“It will be a big blow if Liverpool don’t finish in the top four.”
