Jurgen Klopp opens up on Liverpool’s ‘unbelievable’ Roberto Firmino
Jurgen Klopp has been delighted with Roberto Firmino's progress for both Liverpool and Brazil this season

Jurgen Klopp has heaped praise on Roberto Firmino for his form this season and believes the Liverpool attacker can turn himself into a star for Brazil.
The South American has established himself as one of Liverpool’s most promising players since arriving at the club from Hoffenheim back in 2015.
Firmino has also been in good form for Brazil and has been playing in a similar position for his national side as he does for Liverpool.
And Klopp has been delighted by what he has seen from Firmino for both club and country this season.
Klopp is quoted as saying by the Daily Express: “Brazil have a really good squad and Roberto has been playing around [a main striker] and a little bit behind but if you saw the games then he didn’t score but he opened nearly all the situations.
“It is unbelievable. You think how did they have that much space in and around the box and it was Roberto all over the pitch. He did a really good job.
“Tite [the Brazil manager] obviously likes the way we play. There is a guy in his staff who speaks English and we had a lot contact and he likes the way we play and, although I am not 100% sure, I think he wants to do something similar.”
Liverpool are now preparing for their home game against Bournemouth on Wednesday night as they continue their chase towards a top-four finish in the Premier League.
Klopp has been tasked with steering the Reds back into Europe’s elite club competition after they finished eighth last season and without a trophy, following his appointment back in October 2015.
