Liverpool owner: Time was right to sell Luis Suarez
Liverpool owner John Henry says the "time was right" for the Reds to let Luis Suárez leave the club

Liverpool owner John Henry says the “time was right” for the Reds to let Luis Suarez leave the club this summer.
The Uruguay international completed his move to Barcelona last week for a fee believed to be around £75m after he was handed a four-month ban from all football-related activity for biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup.
PFA player of the year Suarez scored 31 goals in 33 Premier League games for Liverpool last season as Brendan Rodgers’ side finished second in the table.

But Henry feels that the club have made the right decision in letting the 27-year-old move to the Spanish giants.
“It was time for Luis and time for the club to make a break,” Henry told NBC.
“He brought so much to the club but we brought a lot to Luis.
“[Without him] I think you will still see a very explosive Liverpool offense.”
Suarez, who joined Liverpool from Ajax in 2011, has signed a five-year contract with the La Liga club.
